Delta Difference Pass Program
Delta Difference positive space passes were awarded to participants of the Unpaid Voluntary Leave of Absence Program
as well as those that met the qualifications of the Delta Difference Thank You pass and JD Power Award pass.
Delta Difference Travel Pass eligibility and expiration are subject to change at the discretion of Endeavor Air and Delta.
If you were awarded Delta Difference passes and have not redeemed them prior to your departure from Endeavor
please review the following information.
Method of Booking
Employees who are inactive and do not have access to TravelNet should email the Endeavor Pass Bureau to
request a pass with the legal first and last names of the passengers that will be traveling. Please allow one
business day to complete your request. Please email [email protected]
Please contact the Pass Bureau to request a pass only when you are ready to book. Once the pass is issued there will be
no changes or reissues.
Eligible Travelers
The program allows anyone in the Primary Pass Rider (PPR) list (except for minor children) to travel without the
employee. Or, any of the awarded Delta Difference Passes may be used by any person to whom the eligible employee
wishes to provide it to, as long as one person from the employee's PPR list which does not have to be the employee -
accompanies the person using the second pass.
Booking Class
Seats will be booked in the U fare class. To protect Delta's revenue, U inventory must be available from origin to
destination even though U inventory may be available from point to point. For example: If the desired routing is GRR-
DTW-AMS, U inventory must be available from GRR to AMS as an origin/destination and not each leg separately.
Booking Requirements
1. The passes can be booked only on Delta operated flights which include Delta Connection flights.
2. Advance booking is highly recommended to provide the highest probability for seats to be available. You can
book travel up to 331 days in advance.
3. Delta Difference passes are valid for round-trip travel only.
4. You must travel via published fare routings (i.e. a routing we actually sell to our revenue customers.)
5. Stopovers are not permitted.
6. Circle trips are not allowed (flying to one city, spending time in that city, then to another city and then back to
your origin).
7. You may book up to one open jaw segment (flying into one city and back from a different city or flying back to a
different city than you originally departed from) per trip. Circle trips are not allowed.
The outward and inward points must be either both domestic or both international. Combining a domestic
inward point and an outward international point or combining an international inward point and an outward
domestic point, is not permitted.
Changing Reservations
Updated 04/2022
You can make changes to your Delta Difference reservations one time (including canceling and rebooking for a future
trip) by contacting the Endeavor Pass Bureau. You must make the change at least 24 hours before your original flight
departure.
Don't be a no show! If you fail to change your plans at least 24 hours prior to flight departure, your onward flights
will be canceled, and you will not be able to use your Delta Difference Passes at a later date.
There is no minimum or maximum stay, however, issued tickets are valid for one year and cannot be reissued beyond a
year from original issuance. You can book 331 days in advance.
Purchasing Preferred Seats or Upgrades to Delta Comfort+
The pass rider(s) may purchase preferred seats or an upgrade to Comfort+ on www.delta.com by going to My Trips. You
cannot purchase an upgrade to first class or Delta One.
The upsell option will be presented based on availability.
The upsell is non-refundable even when changing the itinerary to a different flight or date, or when being
upgraded to a higher cabin than Delta Comfort+. All changes to Delta Difference reservations must be through
My Trips on www.delta.com. All fees for preferred seats or product upgrades apply.
Airport Taxes and Fees
When traveling internationally, international taxes and fees must be paid with a credit card upon booking your passes
on TravelNet.
When traveling internationally with an infant, a "tax-only" infant ticket for your "lap child" must be purchased for all
international travel, including Delta Difference Passes. Infant tickets cannot be purchased online. You must purchase
infant tickets at the airport ticket counter so make sure you allow enough time at the airport.
When traveling domestically, no taxes will be collected.
Checked Baggage
You can check up to two bags at no charge as long as they meet Delta's standard size and weight limitations. The fee is
automatically waived for the first and second bags when you check in on delta.com or at a kiosk so there is no need to
check in with an agent. However, excess baggage fees will apply if you check more than two bags, check overweight
bags, or bags that exceed the size limit.
Unaccompanied Minors
Unaccompanied minors may not travel using a Delta Difference Pass.
Delay or Cancellation
In the event your flight is delayed or canceled, you will receive the same service provided to Delta revenue customers,
which includes rebooking on DL operated flights at no charge, and if applicable, hotel and meal vouchers.
Oversold Situation
Agents have been instructed not to involuntarily deny boarding to Delta Difference Pass ticket holders when a flight is
oversold. If you voluntarily give up your seat in an oversold situation, you are not eligible for denied boarding
compensation (DBC), but you are eligible for inconvenienced passenger amenities (hotel and meal vouchers if
applicable) and rerouting on DL operated flights at no charge.
Income Tax
Imputed income will appear on your paycheck; however, Endeavor will cover the taxes so there will be no cost to you.
